SYSTEM TYPES:
DIRECT – MICRO SPRINKLERS
Systems that can be connected directly
to the mains water supply via a double check valve and controller as the sprinkler nozzles are above ground level and would not result in contravention of water by laws.
- The mains water supply flow and pressure would be tested during the initial site visit so that the feasibility of direct mains connection may be assessed.
INDIRECT – MICRO SPRINKLERS/DRIP PIPE/POP UP SPRAY
Systems that use a water storage tank
to achieve a “AA” air gap required by water by laws to prevent particle and bacteriological contamination of the mains water supply. A suitable booster pump would be installed to provide sufficient water pressure and flow for
the irrigation system specification.
